RoadRunner was able to provide Novolex with reliable data showing the volumes and streams of materials being sent to landfills across the company’s North American footprint. This information meant that RoadRunner’s experts and Novolex’s leadership could partner to strategize solutions for waste stream reductions and find opportunities for landfill diversion.
Through partnering with RoadRunner, as mentioned in the company’s annual sustainability report, Novolex was able to divert five million pounds of waste from North American landfills, increase the company’s recycling rate to 82% of materials and decrease waste to landfill to 18%. This shared commitment to sustainable waste solutions backed by technology helped solidify Novolex’s position as a leading worldwide packaging supplier.
